Selfless Man's Kind Gesture Toward Hungry Lost Kittens Has People Touched
The universe works in mysterious ways, as does the cat distribution system. People keep happening upon cats in need of a helping paw, and they're always in the right place at the right time. Thankfully, most of these people step into their new roles as cat caretakers without a second thought.
Virgilio is one of those people. Though he's usually playing with his Pit Bull, Luna, or sharing his doll collection on TikTok, he took a break from regular content after finding a litter of helpless kittens in his shed. Mama Cat was nowhere to be found, so he officially stepped up as a new cat dad on May 7. Needless to say, his viewers are so grateful that he took the kittens in, but it seems to me like he never would've thought to do otherwise.
Aww! Those kittens are just as adorable as I was expecting them to be, and Virgilio's excitement is contagious, too. But who wouldn't be stoked to find some precious kittens? His reaction is clearly one gigantic green flag, but the way he cared for the growing baby cats could make anyone's heart melt.

"How did they get in the shed?" asked one commenter. Finally--someone to ask the right questions! There are so many people like Virgilio and I who would be so excited to see the newborn kittens that we never even think about how they got there in the first place.
But it turns out the lost kittens are lucky to have gotten to the shed. Virgilio replied, explaining that the landscaper told him he nearly hit one of the kittens with a lawnmower! It could have been him to place the kittens in the shed, or they could have crawled in through a crack in the door. Either way, what matters most is that they're in safe hands now!
Caring for Orphaned Kittens
Even though Virgilio did the right thing by looking for the mother cat before taking in the orphaned kittens, one can only wait so long before stepping in. When necessary, getting them to a warm and clean environment before providing a kitten milk replacement formula is essential. In the case of these kittens, they were old enough to eat soft, wet food instead of a milk replacement.
Once the rescued kittens are warm and fed, however, there isn't much you can do until you visit the vet. For this litter, though, the best thing to do was to bring them to a local rescue where they can be vetted and adopted. Judging by a later TikTok video, it looks like Virgilio was able to keep one kitten--the black and white cat he named Ariel! There's no doubt that the other kittens will be adopted quickly, so it's a happy ending for everyone!
