The Duchess of Cambridge was all smiles during her Tuesday appearance at a local school, however, we can’t say the same for the dress which (bizarrely enough) looked like an angry face.

In support of Children’s Mental Health Week, Kate paid a visit to Lavender Primary School in North London where she stepped out in a £2,100 Eponine dress paired with black heeled LK Bennett boots and her Mulberry clutch.

However, there was one detail on her dress that some people just couldn’t look past, and that was the diagonal ‘pocket eyes’ sitting over an unfortunate crease that altogether resembled a giant angry face.

One fashion fan pointed it out on Twitter and once they said it, you couldn’t un-see it.

“Someone wasn’t happy to be brought out of the wardrobe this morning.. World’s angriest dress,” they posted.

“Angry dress but she’s always cute,” another commented.

While a third person said, “I don’t like her dress today… looks like a green monster with [eyes]”.

Another agreed, “Kate’s dress was really not enjoying its day out,” alongside an angry face emoji.

However angry face or no angry face, many fans believe that the 37-year-old Duchess can do no wrong when it comes to her regal fashion choices.

“Literally everything she wears looks amazing,” said one fan.

“Always beautiful,” another added while many agreed green was her colour.

During the day, Kate was there to support one of her charities, Place2Be which works in schools to provide guidance to pupils, family, teachers and staff and foster their emotional wellbeing.

According to Kensington Palace: “The Duchess of Cambridge met parents at Lavender Primary to hear their stories of the various parenting challenges they face and how they have managed to keep them and their children healthy. #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek (sic)”.
