Have you ever come across a story and thought it was so crazy that it couldn't be made up? That's how I felt when I watched Zeus the Pomsky describe what happened when he brought a squirrel home to his humans. It will make you laugh and cringe at the same time!

Zeus' mom shared the video on Instagram at the beginning of April, and I couldn't even imagine this happening. Zeus caught a squirrel outside and took it to his kennel inside the family home like it was a prized possession. His mom said he was guarding it with his life, so they were going to get it out of the house when they fed Zeus dinner. But when they went to go get it, it was gone! Listen in as Zeus describes the chaos that happened next!

We'd have to move! There is no way I could even close my eyes knowing that there was a wild squirrel roaming through the house! Zeus' fans left more than 1,300 comments about the hilarious/cringe worthy story. Fortunately, @caroltwells asked, "The question is where is the squirrel now? I feel another disturbed night for the family tonight. Good luck everyone!" and Zeus' mom replied, "Watch my previous video of finding missing squirrel in the shower!" All I can say is thankfully they found it, and that I thought it was funny that Zeus showed no guilt over the situation whatsoever!

Facts About Pet Pomskies

Zeus finds trouble to get into often, and I love that his mom shares his crazy antics with us all...their posts always make me laugh! What I've learned from Zeus is that yes, Pomskies are adorable dogs, but I don't think I'd want one as a pet.

Pomskies are a mix between a Pomeranian and the gorgeous Siberian Husky. They a small sized dog, weighing in at just 20 to 30 pounds as an adult. They are extremely affectionate, playful, and loyal to their family. They make good watchdogs because they are protective of their family, but this means that they love to howl and bark to alert you of any potential (real or not!) threats. Both breeds are high energy dogs meaning if you are looking for a chill, laid back dog, a Pomsky isn't it.

Because these dogs are high-energy pooches, they like to stay busy. They require lots of physical and mental stimulation, and when they get bored, they will find things to do. They love to dig holes and chew on anything and everything they can find. This means that training is crucial, as is exercise several times a day to keep them happy.

There are pros and cons to every dog breed so do your research so that you can weigh the two out. For some families, the cons end up outweighing the pros. This is okay because by not bringing home a dog just because it's cute even though it doesn't fit into your lifestyle, you are helping make sure that they will go to a family where they hopefully will fit in.
