When it comes to kitchen appliances, few brands have managed to win the nation over quite like Ninja.

Recognised for designing compact countertop devices that often bag top spot on people's wishlists, it's no surprise the brand's best-selling range of air fryers often sell out.

Complete with spacious drawers, speedy cooking times and sleek designs, come Black Friday many shoppers try to nab themselves a Ninja air fryer.

And luckily for them, the brand's latest model which launched back in July — Ninja's Foodi FlexDrawer Air Fryer — has gone on sale for the shopping event.

Seven cooking modes, two independent cooking zones and a removable divider, there's no wonder shoppers are saying this is the "best air fryer" they've ever owned.

An upgrade on Ninja's best-selling Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer (also currently reduced to £169.99), this clever piece of kit promises to transform dinnertimes and is the most versatile model from the cookware brand yet.

Although relatively new, the air fryer has already racked up lots of five-star-ratings from a ton of stockists, including Ninja, John Lewis and Amazon. In fact, at Amazon it's currently the site's best-selling air fryer and after reading about the innovative functions, it's easy to see why many air fryer fans are upgrading to the latest model.

Why we rate it

It has been designed to allow users to use it as a traditional two drawer air fryer, or converted into one extra-large MegaZone drawer by removing the divider insider. This means you can easily cook an entire roast dinner in one handy pan.

For example, you can easily fit a whole 2kg leg of lamb with roast vegetables inside or a 2.3kg rolled shoulder of pork with crispy potatoes. Cooking dinner for the whole family has never been so quick and easy.

The air fryer can fit enough food in for over eight people, which is the largest capacity air fryer we've ever come across. In comparison, the original Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer has a 7.6L capacity, whereas the new model has a extra-large 10.4L.

What the reviews say

It's been flying off the shelves at John Lewis, and shoppers have been singing its praises for its spacious capacity and speedy cooking times. It's even rated an impressive 4.9 out of 5.

  • "I purchased a smaller Ninja Air Fryer which was excellent however, I felt I needed a larger version to accommodate catering for larger groups. I researched the dual drawer version but felt that this model offers the opportunity to act as a dual drawer plus "megazone". I love this and would highly recommend this to anyone who's want to cater for larger amounts."

  • "This has really made life around meals so much easier. It cooks in half the time and is so versatile with the 2 separate zones which can convert to a big single zone."

  • "Good construction, easy to use, information booklet helpful. Navigation of cooking options, choices easy to understand. Get one, make yourself your own recipe toasted sandwiches, I guarantee you won't want to do sandwiches any other way. Great buy."

  • "Been debating about getting a duel air frier after using my dads but decided may as well get the latest model and wow did not disappoint….being able to cook a leg of lamb and all the potatoes in the big draw was a godsend."

  • "This is a brilliant piece of kit for the kitchen. Never used one before I bought this, now we cook almost everything in it. Chicken is so succulent. I'll never roast it in the oven again. Takes half the time to cook meals and a bonus is hardly any washing up."
