WrestleMania 40 - live: Updates and results as The Rock, John Cena and Undertaker star on night two

The biggest wrestling show of the year has come and gone: WWE’s two-night extravaganza, WrestleMania.

WrestleMania 40 played out at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday and Sunday, and the card was stacked.

The main event of night one saw Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson competing fully in WWE for the first time in 11 years, as he teamed with his ‘cousin’ Roman Reigns to beat Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. Due to The Rock and Reigns’s victory, the latter’s Universal Championship defence against Rhodes – the main event of night two – was ‘anything goes’, meaning plenty of interferences.

And the most notable interferences came from WWE legends John Cena and The Undertaker, who thwarted The Rock and enabled Rhodes to beat Reigns – marking the end a four-year title reign.

The Rock has taken to X to laud Wrestlemania 40 as a major success for the WWE.

He claims it was the highest-selling single night in the company’s history and reiterates that this is the start of “a new era, new culture.”

A reference to the merger with the UFC and the new company TKO, but perhaps also in light of the allegations made against former owner Vince McMahon.

It’s Rhodes’s turn to use his opponent’s finisher; the American Nightmare hits a spear, but Reigns kicks out! Rhodes with a Cross Rhodes, but Jimmy Uso comes out of nowhere to save his cousin Reigns!

But hang on, here comes Jey Uso to help Rhodes! Jey beat his twin brother Jimmy in a one-on-one match last night. The pair brawl up the entrance ramp, and Jey spears Jimmy off the side and through a table!

Back in the ring, Rhodes kicks out of a spear! More back and forth, then outside the ring, Rhodes smashes Reigns through the barricade! “This is awesome,” is the crowd’s chant.

Suplex by Reigns. 1, 2, kickout by Rhodes. Reigns bullies Rhodes in the corner, but the challenger comes back with a kick to the jaw.

Both men land clotheslines at the same time, and they’re both down. Eventually they stand, and Rhodes lands a power slam. He springs off the ropes and kicks Reigns! 1, 2, NO! This time Reigns kicks out.

Rhodes tries the same kick, but Reigns catches him and hits the challenger with his own finisher, the Cross Rhodes! Another kickout by Rhodes!

Rhodes gets back on top, until Reigns lands a low blow outside the ring! Reigns grins, then powerbombs Rhodes through the announce table!!

He slings Rhodes back in the ring and hits a Superman Punch, but Rhodes kicks out at 2 again!

Reigns escapes the leg lock but is clutching his knee. The pair battle on, and they end up outside the ring and in the crowd!

They climb onto a table covered in a black cloth, and Reigns sets up a suplex... but Rhodes counters with his own suplex! The table doesn’t break, but it’s a hard landing for the champion.

Rhodes marches Reigns back to the ring. Rhodes springs off the ropes but is caught by Reigns, who powerbombs the “American Nightmare”!

Reigns chokes Rhodes with the bottom rope. “I’m gonna send you to Hollywood with the rest of them,” the champion barks. “This is my company, you little b***h!”

“Cody” chants from the crowd as Rhodes and Reigns face off. Rhodes backs Reigns into the corner but soon lets him out.

Big elbow by Reigns, as Rhodes tries to grapple the champion from behind. Now a hard shoulder charge by Reigns.

Reigns runs at Rhodes again, but the challenger sidesteps, and Reigns goes flying into the ring post! Anything goes in this match, and Rhodes has already grabbed a table from under the ring.

But he’s caught off guard by a boot to the face! Reigns slides the table back under the ring and taunts the crowd, to the sound of boos.

Reigns grabs a kendo stick, however, and gets to work on the back of Rhodes. A big swing and a miss from Reigns, though, and he drops the stick.

Rhodes applies a Figure Four Leg Lock, in tribute to Ric Flair.

Rhodes is out first, with plenty of pyro heralding his arrival. A great reaction for Rhodes, whose wife – wrestler Brandi Rhodes – accompanies him at the top of the ramp.

He makes the rest of the walk by himself but does embrace his mum, who is sat in the front row. Rock went out of his way to taunt her last night... Rhodes would love to win this title tonight in part for his late father, Dusty Rhodes, who never held the gold.

Now here comes Reigns, with a choir and an orchestra signalling his arrival.

Both men are in the ring. No sign of Rock yet... AND we’re under way!

One match to go. Tonight’s main event pits Universal Champion Roman Reigns against Cody Rhodes, in a rematch of the night-two main event from last year.

Twelve months ago, Reigns beat Rhodes to retain the belt and maintain his long title run, which is approaching the four-year mark.

Last night, Reigns and The Rock beat Rhodes and Seth Rollins to ensure that tonight’s main event is fought under ‘Bloodline Rules’ – basically meaning anything goes, so expect plenty of interference from The Rock...

Rhodes earned his shot at Reigns this evening by winning the Royal Rumble in January – just as he did in January 2023.

A frantic passage of action ensues, and Sky lands a creative backbreaker before climbing the ring post yet again. Back flip, and this time it connects! 1, 2, NO! Bayley kicks out...

Sky tries yet ANOTHER back flip off the top rope, but Bayley rolls out of the way. Now an elbow drop by the challenger!

Bayley drives Sky face-first into the mat and goes for the pin! 1, 2, 3! And NEW Women’s Champion, Bayley!

The pair battle on, until Bayley throws Sky over the barricade. Sky jumps back over it, but Bayley catches her and slams her to the ground.

The women are back in the ring, and Bayley is looking to battle through that knee issue. Another big slam by Bayley, and she covers Sky... 1, 2, kickout by the champion!

Bayley climbs the ring post, but Sky chases after her, springing off the ropes and dropkicking Bayley to the floor outside the ring. Back flip off the top rope by Sky, who crashes into Bayley!

More fighting in the ring, where Sky lands two straight German suplexes. Both times, Bayley seems to land awkwardly on her neck. Ouch.

Sky scales the ring post and flips off backwards again, but Bayley gets her knees up in defence! Bayley’s turn to climb in the corner, but she misses with an elbow drop!

Here we go... The women lock up, with Bayley taking down Sky early on. Sky slides out of the ring but quickly returns, slinging Bayley to the outside.

Now Bayley is back in the ring, but the action spills under the bottom rope. Sky slaps Bayley then rolls her into the ring.

Sky with a back flip into a dropkick! Yet again the pair end up outside the ring, but Bayley re-enters the squared circle and runs across the ring and back, before leaping between the ropes and diving at Sky.

Back in the ring. Sky fights back and starts attacking Bayley’s right knee, employing a hold. The referee forces the champion to let go eventually, but Sky maintains momentum in the exchanges that follow.

Two more matches tonight! First up, Iyo Sky defends her Women’s Championship against ex-teammate Bayley.

Our own Ollie Browning interviewed Bayley ahead of WrestleMania 40, with the former champion saying:

“I know this is the big one, it’s a very emotional story and it’s heavy on my heart. I’ve been saying for a few years that I’ve never had a singles match at WrestleMania, let alone for the title... It’s such an amazing time in WWE, too.

“The fact I’m right there at the top, I’m honoured, and I feel it’s the perfect time in my career. Now it’s about proving to myself, and everybody, that I’m not going anywhere. I’ve done everything at WrestleMania besides this singles match... It’s like an out-of-body experience. Walking down that ramp, standing in that ring is huge.”

Bayley earned this title shot by winning the Royal Rumble in January.

Paul punches Owens with the brass knuckles, too, before Orton recovers and RKOs Paul!

Orton grabs the brass knuckles but passes them to the referee. Meanwhile, a mascot dressed as a Prime bottle drags Paul out of the ring, and reveals himself to be... a streamer (I don’t recognise them, I won’t lie)...

Apparently it’s I Show Speed, and he barks at Orton, who responds by RKOing the streamer on the announce table!

Orton gets back in the ring, where a chaotic spell ends with Owens suffering a great counter RKO!

But Paul chucks Orton out of the ring then flies off the top rope, splashing Owens! 1, 2, 3 – Paul retains the US Title!

Owens with a flip off the top rope and onto Paul... who gets his knees up! Paul then climbs the ring post and lands his own front flip onto Owens!

Orton then sneaks in and builds some momentum, hitting a DDT on both of his opponents as they hang from the middle rope.

The trio battle on, until Paul hoists Owens onto the ring post. Paul tries a suplex, but Owens reverses with a power slam from the top rope! He follows up with a back flip from the top rope, too!

Here comes Orton with an RKO on Owens, who kicks out at 2! Now Paul slides into the ring, sporting some brass knuckles, and he clocks Orton! 1, 2, NO – Orton kicks out!

Paul exits the ring immediately, but Owens and Orton chase him and start beating up the YouTuber.

Orton with a backdrop on Paul, slamming him on an announce table. Owens follows suit, as Paul cries out in pain. Orton goes again!

Back in the ring, Orton and Owens continue to double-team Paul. Both men try to pin Paul, and suddenly it gets a bit frosty between them...

Orton tries an RKO! Owens reverses! Orton grins... The crowd chants at him, “You f***ed up,” and the fast friends finally trade blows.

Paul leaps back into this match and starts to build momentum. He taunts the crowd while he’s at it.

Next up, YouTube star Logan Paul defends the US Championship against Randy Orton and Kevin Owens.

While we wait for that bout, this year’s WWE Hall of Fame inductees emerge to greet the crowd.

Now here comes Paul, riding atop a truck of Prime – his energy drink.

Owens is out next, driving a buggy. He gets to the bottom of the ramp, and Orton’s music hits... and Owens reverses back up the ramp, where Orton hops on the buggy!

All three men are now in the ring.

Styles is able to compose himself and apply a leg lock on Knight, who grabs the bottom rope, forcing the referee to stop the hold.

Styles continues to target the left knee of Knight, wrapping his leg around the ring post. Knight counters and floors Styles, before pulling some protective padding off one section of the floor outside the ring...

Knight tries a powerbomb, but Styles counters, and Knight lands back-first on the exposed floor! Knight barely gets back in the ring before the 10 count. Styles with a front flip, springing off the top rope, but Knight gets his knees up to counter!

A frantic spell ensues, with each man countering the other. Styles tries another aerial attack, but Knight knocks him off the top rope!

Knight hits his finisher, driving Styles face-first into the mat! Aaaaaand 1, 2, 3! Knight beats Styles!

The bell has barely rung before Knight and Styles come to blows! Knight gets the better of the early exchanges, but Styles is fighting back now.

Styles is targeting the left leg of Knight, who is hobbling around the ring... until he finds the adrenalin to go on a bit of a tear, starting with a clothesline of Styles.

Knight’s leg seems fine for now; he springs off the ropes and hits a spinning DDT on Styles. Now he lifts the former world champion onto the ring post and tries a suplex, but Styles slips under Knight and pulls him from the top rope.

It’s Styles’s turn to climb, and it’s Knight’s turn to thwart him. The referee’s view is obscured as Knight bites Styles! Styles retaliates with an eye poke!

Eventually Knight is able to suplex Styles from the top rope! German suplex, with Styles flipping through the air and landing hard!

Now Lashley, Dawkins and Ford grab a table from under the ring. They place Kross on the table, but it breaks prematurely (oops, that wasn’t meant to happen). They get another one and try again...

Ford with a splash from the top rope, putting Kross through the table, and Lashley follows up with a pin...

Kross with a backbreaker to Lashley onto a chair! Akam and Rezar continue their kendo-stick assault on Dawkins and Ford.

The Pride fight back, though, with Ford flipping off the top rope and onto Akam and Rezar outside the ring! Ford almost went over the barricade and into the front row, too!!

Back in the ring, Lashley beats up Kross with a chair.

McIntyre looks at CM Punk at ringside and tries the fan favourite’s signature move, the GTS, but Rollins reverses with a clever pin... McIntyre beats the count, stands and hits a Claymore! 1, 2, kickout by Rollins!

McIntyre drags Rollins outside the ring and tries a powerbomb through an announce table, but the champion fights back. McIntyre is draped over one announce table, Rollins is standing on another, and he runs at the Scot and hits a stomp!

Rollins rolls McIntyre back into the ring, but he’s kicked straight in the face... Kickout by Rollins yet again!

Rollins rolls outside the ring, where McIntyre throws him around before grabbing his wife’s phone from the front row.

Rollins capitalises on a distraction from CM Punk, hitting a Pedigree on McIntyre! He rolls the Scot back into the ring, where McIntyre kicks out of a pin attempt.

Before the match gets going, Stephanie McMahon emerges to greet the crowd at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field.

Now here comes the challenger, Scotland’s Drew McIntyre, with a band of drummers and bagpipe players soundtracking his entrance. McIntyre earned the right to challenge Rollins by winning the Elimination Chamber in February.

Seth Rollins is out now, with a string band dressed in some pretty wild outfits playing his theme music. Rollins’s outfit is even wilder!

Guest commentator CM Punk is already ringside.

Rhodes hits his finisher twice and goes for a third, but Rock whips Rhodes with his own belt!

Reigns capitalises, hitting a spear! He tags in Rock, who hits a Rock Bottom and a People’s Elbow, and 1, 2, 3! Rock and Reigns beat Rhodes and Rollins!

That result means that, when Reigns defends his Universal Title against Rhodes in tomorrow’s main event, it’s anything goes – Rock can interfere as much as he wants; Reigns can bend the rules as much as he likes; there are no rules, in a sense.

The Rock, who is on the board of the WWE’s parent company, warns the referee that he’ll fire him if he counts any wrestler out.

Rollins and Rock fight into the crowd, where Rock throws a bin at the “Architect”, before spitting water in his face! At the top of the ramp, Rhodes suplexes Reigns!

The Rock vs Rollins for now, then. They lock up, and Rock shoves Rollins to the mat. Rock paces around the ring, waiting for Rollins to get back up.

Rollins does, and he out-grapples Rock before taunting the legend. A segment of the crowd sings Rollins’s theme song, before they’re drowned out by “Rocky” chants.

Rock beats up Rollins in the corner then threatens the referee – which gets a laugh out of the crowd. Rock then mocks Rhodes with a signature taunt.

Rollins tags in Rhodes... There’s a long face-off between Rhodes and Rock, as the crowd soaks up the moment. Rhodes then gets to work in the corner, punching and kicking Rock.

Rhodes tags in Rollins, and the pair double-team Rock.

The wrestlers’ introductions are under way... and there’s the first bell!!!

All four men face off in the middle of the ring for a long time, until The Rock and Rhodes step aside, leaving Rollins and former teammate Reigns to kick things off.

It’s the Universal Champion vs the World Heavyweight Champion for the time being. They lock up in the middle of the ring, where Reigns overpowers the smaller man. They lock up again, but this time Rollins outmanoeuvres Reigns.

He then tags in Rhodes, who eats a headbutt from Reigns in the corner. Rhodes responds with a knee to the body. Rollins tags himself in, and Reigns finally tags in The Rock – to a huge reaction.

Here we go... Cody Rhodes’s music hits first, to a great ovation. He embraces his mother in the front row, and he’s soon joined in the ring by rival-turned-ally Seth Rollins – who is sporting a very garish, black and gold gown.

Now, The Rock. You can sense the anticipation as the lights go out ahead of his entrance... And his music hits! What a moment. He stands inside the outline of a bull’s head – which is flaming, by the way – before walking to the ring.

Finally, Roman Reigns makes his entrance, accompanied by manager Paul Heyman. Fewer thrills for Reigns than The Rock... until the “Tribal Chief” hoists his Universal Title above his head, and fireworks go off behind him!

The Rock’s first full match in 11 years, as he teams with his ‘cousin’ Roman Reigns to face Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.

If The Rock and Reigns win, the latter’s Universal Championship defence against Rhodes – the main event of night two – will be ‘anything goes’, meaning plenty of weapons and interferences.

(Rollins is also competing on night two, by the way, defending the World Heavyweight Title against Drew McIntyre).

Both men pop back up, and Gunther hits two powerbombs in a row, but Zayn kicks out again! Gunther taunts Zayn’s wife in the front row. “It’s over for you,” she fires back. In the ring, Gunther continues to bully Zayn.

Another powerbomb by Gunther, who grins at Zayn’s wife. Gunther climbs the ring post and splashes onto Zayn. And again.

Gunther climbs the ring post one more time, but Zayn rises to his feet and kicks the Austrian in the corner. Now a suplex variation from the top rope on Gunther!

Gunther stumbles to the far corner, and Zayn runs at him, kicking the champion square in the face! Zayn pumps up the crowd and goes for one more kick!

It connects, and there’s the pinfall! Zayn wins! The new Intercontinental Champion...

Zayn stands at strikes Gunther repeatedly, before hitting a Tornado DDT off the ring ropes. Gunther pops back up and tries a chokehold, but Zayn counters with a backdrop...

Or a backdrop attempt, rather, because Gunther reverses and gets a rear naked choke locked in. He drags Zayn to the mat with it.

Zayn stands, carrying Gunther’s weight, until the champion hops off Zayn’s back and lands another German suplex.

Gunther runs at Zayn in the corner, but the Canadian catches the Austrian and throws him into the ring post. Zayn looks to build momentum, but Gunther hits a big dropkick then a powerbomb!

“Let’s go Gunther,” and “Let’s go Sami,” are the duelling chants at Lincoln Financial Field. Gunther lays Zayn across the ring post and stretches out his challenger.

In the front row, Zayn’s wife tries to encourage him. Gunther is kicking and slapping him about. Zayn fires back, as each man chops the other’s chest.

Zayn then runs across the ring and hurls himself at Gunther, flooring the champion.

Cargill with a chokeslam to Asuka. She deals with Kai, too. Sane jumps off the ring post, but Cargill catches her and hits a backbreaker across her knee.

A sort of piledriver variation from Cargill on Kai now, but Asuka and Sane break up the pinfall! Naomi and Belair incapacitate those two, and Cargill is left alone with Kai...

Cargill hoists up Kai, marches her around the ring, then slams her down face-first! 1, 2, 3 – Belair, Cargill and Naomi win!

Sane throws Naomi back in the ring and is replaced by Asuka, who takes control. Naomi is a long way from her teammates...

But she gets there eventually, tagging in Belair, who is dealing with all three of her side’s opponents.

The crowd wants Cargill to be tagged in, but Kai stops Belair at the last moment.

Now the twins trade kicks, which become increasingly acrobatic. Both brothers are left floored, and the crowd applauds.

The Usos stand and go back and forth with more kicks. Jey beckons his brother on, and Jimmy obliges with yet more kicks. Jey responds in kind each time.

The pace of the match has slowed somewhat.

Jimmy fights back and taunts the crowd. “Too easy,” he says, as Jey tries to make it back to his feet. Instead, Jimmy kicks him square in the face and floors him. And again.

Andrade then climbs the ring post and backflips off it, but Dom rolls out of the way. Dom and Andrade tag in Escobar and Rey, respectively.

Rey with some high-flying attacks, and he goes for the 619 on Escobar! It connects! Andrade with a backflip off the top rope to Dom, outside the ring!

Back in the ring, Escobar is able to get back on top in his battle with Rey.

R-Truth scurries into the ring and lines up a ladder... but his rival JD McDonagh interferes in the match, slamming R-Truth off the ladder and helping his own teammate Balor up the ladder.

But Woods and Kingston pull McDonagh and Balor down! Kingston is wielding a steel chair!

McDonagh climbs the ladder again, but the New Day throw him off, and he flies out of the ring and through the remaining pair of tables!

Back in the ring, Woods jumps off the top rope with an elbow drop on Ciampa, who is laid on a ladder, which is suspended between the ropes and the rungs of a bigger ladder!

Kingston climbs said bigger ladder, but instead of grabbing the remaining belts, he jumps backwards – out of the ring and onto a sea of bodies!

Bate and Dunne climb a ladder outside the ring, and they both backflip off the ladder, landing on a gaggle of opponents! Wow!

Back in the ring, Dunne tries to climb for one set of titles, but Priest powerbombs Bate into Dunne, who falls! Now Priest and Balor beat up The Miz, whose ‘tags in’ R-Truth eventually (there are no tags in this match, just R-Truth doing a bit of comedy, for reference...).

R-Truth with a series of John Cena’s most famous moves, then he ‘pins’ Balor (no pins in this match either, just more comedy from R-Truth!).

The match begins with everyone brawling in the ring, then everyone leaving the ring to grab ladders and continue fighting.

Theory and Waller are back in the ring, climbing a ladder each, but they’re pulled down, and now it’s Dunne and Bate climbing...

Woods erects a third ladder, between the other two ladders, and there are about 10 men on the three ladders!

The outer ladders fall, and Woods and Kingston are left on the middle one, but they’re soon pulled down as well.

Priest and Balor, the defending champions, beat up Bate with a pair of ladders, before Bate fights back... He has Balor flat on his shoulders – and Balor is holding a ladder on top of that. Bate spins around and gains a couple of casualties, using the ladder as a weapon!

So, for clarity: There are two sets of title belts – a blue pair and a red pair – and this match will only end when both sets have been pulled down from above the ring. The Judgment Day own both pairs of titles, but we may end up with two different champion teams when all is said and done...

A lot of entrances to get through, but finally, all six teams are in the ring...

Here we go – this could be chaos!

The pair fight on, and Ripley uses the Riptide to smash Lynch into the corner! One more Riptide in the middle of the ring, and Ripley pins Lynch!

And still! Ripley retains her world title, as her reign passes the year mark!

Lynch with a leg drop from the top rope, but Ripley reverses with a leg lock! Lynch is able to roll up Ripley, and the referee counts... but the champion kicks out.

The pair stand, and Ripley tries her finisher – the Riptide – but Lynch reverses and slams the Aussie! 1... 2... NO! Another kickout by Ripley.

The pair keep battling, and Ripley manages to land the Riptide this time! Lynch crashes to the mat, but she’s able to kick out of the resulting pinfall – barely!

Ripley scales the ring post, but Lynch races after her. Suplex from the top rope by Lynch! She immediately follows up with an armbar, but Ripley stands and lifts the Irishwoman... The pair flip over the top rope, but Ripley is somehow still holding Lynch aloft!

She slams Lynch and then rolls her back into the ring...

Lynch with a tornado DDT, springing off the middle rope. She covers Ripley, who kicks out.

The women move to the outside, where Lynch suplexes Ripley into the barricade! She drags the Aussie back into the ring before jumping from the top rope with a leg drop! Ripley kicks out of another pin.

Another aerial move by Lynch, but Ripley shows off her strength to catch the challenger and slam her down! Then a huge boot to the face by Ripley, who covers Lynch – but the Irishwoman kicks out.

As the pair are lying on the mat, Lynch goes for an armbar, but Ripley is able to stand and slam Lynch again! She lifts the challenger again for another powerbomb, then one more! Lynch kicks out of the ensuing pinfall attempt.

Lynch stands and is hit with some headbutts and another boot by Ripley. Lynch with another kickout, and Ripley shouts in frustration. A slapping contest follows, before Ripley charges at Lynch but crashes into the ring post!

Lynch has reportedly been unwell this week, suffering from strep throat. She and Ripley circle each other then lock up. Ripley, the bigger athlete, shoves Lynch to the mat, but the Irishwoman stands and slaps the champion. Ripley responds in kind.

The pair fight by the ropes, before Lynch moves onto the apron and scales the corner. She leaps from the top rope with a dropkick! Ripley is soon back up, and the women trade strikes in the centre of the ring, before Ripley delivers a couple of impressive slams.

Ripley goes for a suplex, holding Lynch above her for some time, but the challenger reverses with a roll-up pin attempt! Ripley kicks out. In the ensuing striking exchange, Ripley lands a dropkick.

It’s Ripley’s turn to climb the corner and leap from the top rope, but Lynch reverses with an arm drag.

Australian Ripley defends her world title against Lynch, a former world champion herself.

Ireland’s Lynch emerges first, after a recording plays of the superstar reading an excerpt from her autobiography (which was published a matter of days ago).

Now here comes Ripley, with a band – Motionless In White – playing her entrance music live!

Here we go, then... WrestleMania 40, night one, is under way!

The US national anthem is sung by Coco Jones to get things started. “U-S-A” chants follow in Philly...

And Triple H’s music hits! He makes his way to the ring and plays to the crowd.

“Man, I live for this,” he says. “Welcome to a new time, welcome to a new era, welcome to WrestleMania!”

A short and sweet intro from the former multi-time world champion, who is now WWE’s COO and head of creative.

WrestleMania 40 LIVE – Night One

The biggest wrestling show of the year has arrived: WWE’s two-night extravaganza, WrestleMania.

This edition of the historic event is WrestleMania 40, playing out at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday and Sunday, and the card is stacked.

The main event of night one sees Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson competing fully in WWE for the first time in 11 years, as he teams with his ‘cousin’ Roman Reigns to face Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. If The Rock and Reigns win, the latter’s Universal Championship defence against Rhodes – the main event of night two – will be ‘anything goes’, meaning plenty of weapons and interferences.

Elsewhere on night one, Rhea Ripley defends the Women’s World Championship against fellow megastar Becky Lynch, while record-breaking Intercontinental Champion Gunther puts his title on the line against Sami Zayn. There will also be a six-team ladder match for the Undisputed Tag-Team Titles, and brothers Jimmy and Jey Uso will go head to head in a match years in the making.
