The moment a Dragons’ Den winner crashed his £100,000 Ferrari in a city centre street after allegedly losing control of the supercar has been captured on CCTV.

‌Video footage shows the red Ferrari F430 as it veered across the road, narrowly missing three people on the pavement, including a jogger.

The car, worth more than £100,000, came to a stop after smashing into four bicycle racks, bending them out of shape.

Ross Mendham escaped unharmed from the high-powered vehicle following the crash at around 5pm on Sunday March 17.

The 40-year-old, who is the son of former Norwich City star Peter Mendham, was arrested afterwards for alleged breach of his bail conditions relating to an upcoming trial over allegations he knocked out his heavily pregnant partner during an argument.

Mendham is accused of punching Annabelle Weedall in the face, causing her to lose consciousness on Dec 2 last year. She was 32 weeks pregnant at the time.

He denied assault causing actual bodily harm when he appeared via video link from prison at Norwich Crown Court on Jan 3.

Appearing at Norwich Magistrates’ Court in custody on Monday March 18, Mendham pleaded guilty to breach of bail by not keeping a GPS tag charged.

A spokesman for Norfolk Constabulary said: “Police were called to Rose Lane, Norwich, at 4.58pm on Sunday March 17 following reports of a single vehicle collision.

“The road was closed whilst emergency services, including fire, attended the scene. ‌No one was injured and the road reopened at 6.25pm.”

‌Mendham appeared on Dragons’ Den in 2013, when entrepreneur Peter Jones invested £60,000 in his low-calorie venture, which is now called Barenaked Foods.

Last year he also launched a fashion brand called God of Design (GOD) that upcycled vintage and designer clothing.
