WWE is due to add a huge international star to its women's roster. Stardom wrestler Giulia is reportedly set to sign with WWE once her contract expires.

A new report from Tokyo Sports (via Fightful) states that Giulia informed Stardom's parent company Bushiroad that she will be leaving the company at the end of March when her contract is up.

Giulia appeared to confirm the news herself on X, sharing the Tokyo Sports article and writing: "As free as a bird."

However, she may not arrive in WWE immediately. Wrestling Observer has previously reported that she is expected stay in Japan for a while after leaving Stardom in order to help the company's founder Rossy Ogawa start a new promotion.

Ogawa founded Stardom in 2010 before selling the company to Bushiroad in 2019. He stayed on as the company's head producer until his contract was terminated by Bushiroad earlier this month.

Giulia is the current NJPW Strong Women's Champion after defeating AEW's Willow Nightingale at NJPW Independence Day on July 5, 2023.

She has previously held the World of Stardom Championship and the Wonder of Stardom Championship, as well as winning the 5Star Grand Prix in 2022.

While Giulia may be on her way to WWE, a former Superstar is headed to AEW after spending time in NJPW and Stardom.

Mercedes Moné, the former Sasha Banks, is set to debut for AEW at their special 'Big Business' edition of Dynamite in Boston on March 13. Following the announcement of the 'Big Business' show, Fightful Select reported that Moné has been on AEW's payroll since at least early January.
