  • Tulum may be one of Mexico's lesser-known areas but it's gorgeous clear blue waters and lush green trees are not to missed, not to mention the dramatic Mayan ruins.

  • Gatlinburg can be found on the border of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The city sits in the valley of a number of the mountains and is well known for the Ober Gatlinburg aerial tramway and Dollywood, a theme park owned by Dolly Parton.

    The sites not to miss in Gatlinburg are: Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies and Sugarlands Distilling Company.

  • Moscow may be best known for the Red Square but the Russian capital has far more to offer than this. Taking a tour of the city's Communist history or watching a show at the famous Bolshoi theatre are a just a few things to enjoy.

  • New Delhi makes for a striking contrast to the old city, although both are home to a rich culture and history.   • Nestled in the heart of the Rockies, Banff is not just the resort town it may seem on first impression. The town is renowned for its perfect snow conditions but it also plays host to great restaurants, nightlife and plenty of attractions to bring you back in the summer when the snow has melted.

    Be sure not to miss Bow Valley Parkway, Banff Gondola and Lake Minnewanka.

  • The Peruvian capital was founded in 1535 and is burried in history including a host of amazing Incan archaeological sites and a number of buildings dating back from Spanish colonial times and what's more, there's a beautiful beach on offer too!

    TripAdvisor suggests Museo Larco and Parque de la Reserva should not be missed.

  • This World Heritage park sits between Brazil and Argentina and includes a stunning 270 waterfalls. The most famous is Devil's Throat, a combination of 14 waterfalls that create a constant rainbow.

    Things not to be missed include: Cataratas do Iguacu, Iguacu National Park and the Itaipu Hydroelectric Dam.
