A 552bhp twin-turbocharged 4-litre V8 powers the latest RS model from the luxury German marque, extending the range of fiery RS Audis to six. Priced at £78,000, it looks set to take on the recently revealed BMW M6 GrandCoupe in the fight for most powerful German cruiser. Audi claim the quattro four-wheel drive system and eight-speed automatic gearbox can easily handle the immense power, quoting a 0-62mph sprint time of just 3.9 seconds.

You're looking at the world's fastest four-seat convertible- Bentley's latest drop top offering will happily smash 197mph with the roof lowered for those brave (or foolish) enough. The car was revealed earlier this month but this is the first time the brutish 616bhp, W12-engined Riviera-cruiser has been seen in the flesh. Lower suspension, a new eight-speed gearbox and recalibrated steering mark it out among other Continental models, as do bespoke alloys and a new front grille.

Production is already confirmed for this year, with Japan receiving the first deliveries and the US and Europe to follow early 2014.
