  • Former Brookside star Anna Friel launches a new bus poster in support of Aids research at The Transport Museum in central London this morning (Tuesday).The campaign, funded by the transport advertising company TDI (Transport Displays Incorporated), aims to remind everyone about the dangers of HIV, the virus believed to cause Aids, and to call for more research funding. The poster, which reads 'Aids research = Life', features the eye-catching bright colours of a painting by British artist Howard Hodgkin, who has donated the use of his artwork.
