- After nearly 40 years of hits, it is no secret that Paul McCartney has a way with a song. Now he is showing he has a touch with a brush and canvas too. Although he has been painting for some 18 years, the former Beatle has only recently gone public. After an exhibition in Germany in 1999, he has published a collection, "Paintings," and has staged shows in London and New York.
