Easter escapes for the family
  • How do you balance the adult pleasures of wine-tasting and sightseeing with fun for the kids?   • Go in search of some early sun at the Dubrovnik Sun Gardens on Croatia's Dalmatian Coast.   • Catch some late-season skiing on an Austrian glacier with Zenith Holidays.   • Where better to show your kids the meaning of Easter than on a Greek island. This year, Easter in the UK coincides with the celebrations in Greece, where it is one of the most important dates on the annual calendar, and you can witness the spectacle on the island of Rhodes.   • Give your family a taste of the high life in St Tropez this Easter. It doesn't have to cost you a fortune, though – keep an eye on your budget by staying at the Restanques du Golfe Resort de Saint Tropez with Pierre & Vacances. This holiday village, set in 25 acres of landscaped grounds overlooking the Mediterranean, has 572 apartments, houses and villas, many with sea views, on-site restaurants and shops, pool with lagoons and slides and a kids club.   • Get a sense of adventure on a new eight-day family holiday in Northern Cyprus with The Adventure Company.   • If you're happy to blow the budget altogether, here's a great one! Take the crew along for a boating holiday on the Canal de la Garonne in southern France. European Waterways is offering family charter cruises on the fully crewed hotel barge "Rosa", so you'll have the whole boat to yourselves, with its four air-conditioned en-suite cabins, wood-panelled saloon – and a bar for the grown-ups. Drift through the French countryside as the crew take the strain and on-board chef rustles up meals.
