With its traditional village feel, Klosters is a beautiful, romantic destination which offers horse-drawn sleigh rides, toboggan runs and snow shoe trekking on top of its wonderful ski facilities.
Although most reports of her holiday relate to her shopping excusions and snow bunny ski suits, VB does also ski. How else would she be able to show off her top-of-the-range ski outfits? One fellow skier told local website merinet.com: "She's actually pretty decent on skis and they all looked as though they were having a great time.” Courchevel is the glamourous face of the Trois Vallees area - it's stuffed with the rich and famous, who fly in to the little mountain airstrip on their private jets.
With seven miles of mountain front and 300 days of sunshine, it's no wonder stars like Justin head for Vail, the main rival to Aspen. It's Adventure Ridge - a snow park the size of a football stadium - is a fun-packed place for anyone who fancies tubing, ski biking, snow mobiles and bungee trampolining...
Verbier is another popular spot with royals. This snap was taken of Eugenie in 2011, when she was taking a skiing break with mum Fergie and sister Beatrice. Verbier is known for its wonderful position, perched atop a sunwashed plateau with incredible views.

Our Katherine is a good sport. She was spotted in Banff, nestled in the Canadian Rockies, participating in an event specially held for celebs in 2010. The Celebrity Sports Invitational had A-listers including Glenn Close and Susan Sarandon racing against the clock and showing off their good-natured competitive skills. Aaah, bless.

On Boxing Day 2011, the supermodel was spotted enjoying the Colorado snow with her family. They picked their resort wisely: Aspen is fabulous for families, and this glamorous lot were sapped enjoying lots of skiing and plenty of sledging together.
