Inside British entrepreneur's £6m Notting Hill three-bedroom property
  • Mark Christopher, an entrepreneur who made a fortune from selling the West Cornwall Pasty Company he co-founded in 1998, has put his Notting Hill home on the market.

  • Christopher and his business partners reportedly sold the company to a private equity firm for a figure between £30 million and £40 million.
  • Christopher then bought his Notting Hill property. At the time it was split into two maisonettes but with a lot of work, he transformed it into a chic three bedroom home arranged over five floors- complete with a roof terrace, extension and glass walls.
  • The back wall on two floors has been removed and replaced with glass, flooding the modern interior with light.

  • The trendy home, located on Sutherland Place just off Westbourne Grove, was designed as a frame for Christopher's modern art collection.

  • The property is currently on the market for £6 million. It's a major price tag for a three-bedroom property, and it puts it around the top of the price bracket for this size of property in this part of Notting Hill.

  • The property features a luxuriously comfortable home cinema with plush plum sofas.

  • The ultra modern master bedroom is spread across the entire top floor.

  • The all white master bedroom suite features a bath and fireplace at the end of the bed and a very satisfactory wardrobe and bathroom arrangement.

  • A spiral staircase leads from the bedroom to a mezzaine-level study, and a huge sliding glass wall which opens to the private roof terrace.
