  • Injured pop star Brian Harvey leaves City Hospital, Nottingham. The 27-year-old former member of teen idol group E17 suffered a serious head injury as he left The Works nightclub in Nottingham. * As he left the hospital where he has had plastic surgery on the wound to his head, he said: "I really don't feel too bad considering what has happened."

At a previous hearing Harvey, 27, of St John's Road, Walthamstow, *..East London pleaded not guilty to supplying cocaine on April 26 this year to Kemal Zorba and to possessing the drug on the same day. 13/06/2003: The former East 17 singer Brian Harvey was today cleared of drugs charges brought following an investigation carried out by the News of the World newspaper last year. Harvey, 27, appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court as the prosecution offered no evidence against the star a year after he was first arrested and charged with supplying and possessing cocaine.
