A second series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK Versus The World has been confirmed.

First airing in 2022, the hit Drag Race spin-off sees queens from the previous UK series battle it out against competitors from seasons across the globe, including America, Canada, Thailand, and Holland.

Following a fierce final battle against Mo Heart, RuPaul's Drag Race UK series one star Blu Hydrangea became the first star to be crowned Queen of the Mother Tucking World.

Series two will see Mama Ru return with judges Michelle Visage, Alan Carr, and Graham Norton alongside a star-studded guestlist of celebrity guests and judges.

The contestants for the new episodes are yet to be announced. This series, set to premiere in early 2024, will also see the queens competing for a cash prize.

Speaking ahead of the latest series, RuPaul said: "It is my honour to present the second sickening instalment of RuPaul's Drag Race UK Versus The World. When queens of this calibre come together, something truly magical happens. I can't wait to share the international love with audiences in the UK and around the globe."

It comes as the sixteenth season of Drag Race has been announced with a full list of celebrity guests and shocking twists confirmed.

The latest trailer for the series confirms Charlize Theron, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Adam Shankman, Icona Pop, Isaac Mizrahi, Jamal Sims, Joel Kim Booster, Kaia Gerber, Kelsea Ballerini, Kyra Sedgwick, Law Roach, Mayan Lopez and Ronan Farrow to appear.

RuPaul is also seen telling the queens that immunity will return for at least one challenge, which means that the winning queen of a week's Maxi Challenge will not be going home the following week.

The contestants will also take Ru's job as they select the winning and losing queens following the traditional talent show in a 'Rate-A-Queen' system.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Verses The World will be on BBC Three and iPlayer in early 2024. RuPaul's Drag Race UK airs on BBC Three in the UK and streams on WOW Presents Plus in the US.
