More than a million students have completed this year’s Naplan exams, which were held in March.

A record 4.48m online tests were sat by 1.2 million students across thousands of schools, quizzing grades 3, 5, 7 and 9 on reading, writing, numeracy, spelling and grammar.

It will be weeks before students know how they did, but last year, one in 10 students were falling behind on core skills.
