First look at Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn in Joker 2
Joker: Folie à Deux's first at Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn is here.
In a joint post on the movie's official Instagram page and that of Warner Bros. Pictures, Gaga's seen in character as the Arkham Asylum psychiatrist.
In the photo, she stares at Joker/Arthur Fleck, played once again by Oscar-winning actor Joaquin Phoenix, as she tenderly holds his face. The caption? "Happy Valentine's Day."
Considering Gaga only began shooting in the New Year, this is a pretty quick turnaround.

"There's someone for everyone, I guess," read a comment from the official DC page, as fans shared their excitement to see Gaga as Harley for the first time.
Margot Robbie, who herself portrayed a live-action Harley in three different movies, has shared her excitement at seeing how Gaga takes on the iconic role in Joker: Folie à Deux.
"It makes me so happy," the Birds of Prey actress said of Gaga's casting.

"I said from the beginning all I want is for Harley Quinn to be one of those characters that... the way like Macbeth or Batman always gets passed from great actor to great actor, and it's kind of like someone gets to do their Batman or someone gets to do their Macbeth, you know?
"It's such an honour to have built a foundation strong enough that Harley can now be one of those characters that other actors get to have a go at playing, and I think she'll do something incredible with it."
Joker: Folie à Deux is scheduled for cinemas on October 4, 2024. Joker is available to buy on Blu-ray or streaming now.
