Driver of £250k Ferrari supercar flees scene after crashing into five parked vehicles

The driver of a red Ferrari supercar fled the scene of an accident after crashing into five parked vehicles.

The Ferrari SF90, worth an estimated £250,000, was mangled in the incident, which happened in Halesowen, in the West Midlands, on Wednesday.

The supercar, which can reach a top speed of 211mph, went into a row of parked vehicles at about 7.40pm.

Emergency services said the driver of the car had left the scene by the time they arrived.

The front end of the vehicle, which goes from 0 to 124mph in 6.7 seconds, was left a crumpled mess, while bits of the car were strewn over the road.

It is believed no one was injured in the collision.

Haden Cross Fire Station shared images on Twitter and wrote: "RTC Hagley Road, Halesowen- White Watch attended. Please be careful when out and about."

West Midlands Fire and Rescue Service said on Thursday the driver had left the scene by the time crews arrived.

A spokesman said: "Shortly before 7.45pm on Wednesday 25 May we responded to Hagley Road, Halesowen, where a car had been in collision with five parked vehicles.

"Two fire engines and 10 firefighters attended, from Haden Cross and Billesley fire stations. The first crew arrived five minutes after being mobilised.

"The driver of the car had left the scene before we arrived. We made the vehicle safe and left the incident in the hands of the police at 8.45pm."
