• The politician Frank Field died on 23 April, not 23 March as an obituary said (25 April, Journal, p10).

• An article (UK is worst country in world for underage drinking, WHO says, 25 April, p2) should have referred, in the headline and throughout the text, to Great Britain, not the UK. The source data for the analysis, by the World Health Organization, came from 44 countries and regions, including England, Scotland and Wales, but not Northern Ireland.
