British midlifers are the loneliest in Europe: Do you have any advice on how to cope?

Middle-aged people in England are the loneliest in Europe, revealed research conducted by psychologists.

The researchers at Arizona State University, who were comparing Europeans with Americans, found that, overall, those stateside were lonelier than their counterparts in Europe. But Englishmen and women reported the highest levels of “midlife loneliness” in Europe.
