Michael Gove interview interrupted by cat

Michael Gove's cat made a surprise appearance during a video interview on LBC radio.

The minister was being asked about quarantine hotels by Nick Ferrari when the family pet suddenly appeared.

"Sorry my cat has just..." he said.

Mr Ferrari replied: "I noticed that... now what is the cat's name?"

"The cat is called Circe," Mr Gove replied, adding: "The cat is actually behind the laptop and is about to knock it over."

Mr Ferrari then said: "Aaaagh...OK.... I'm now seeing your midriff Mr Gove...

"It's not something I thought I would ever wake up to... your midriff right in full screen!"
