In 2017, the space rock that became known as 'Oumuamua', made headlines when it entered our solar system and rapidly flew past Earth.

At the time, the cigar-shaped interstellar object sparked much speculation as to its origins, with a number of scientists suggesting it may even have been created by aliens.

Now a Harvard professor is doubling down on the alien claims in his new book, forwarding a theory that the rock provides proof of intelligent life beyond out solar system.
