Woman shatters hundreds of bottles of alcohol inside Stevenage supermarket

Disturbing footage has emerged of a woman's five-minute rampage at an Aldi supermarket in Hertfordshire.

Video filmed by a customer shows the woman calmly sweeping bottles of wine and spirits from the shelves, before going on to pick up individual bottles and smash them on the floor.

At one point she slips over in the broken glass and the person filming the incident can be heard saying that she is bleeding heavily from her arm.

According to a report in The Sun, the woman caused thousands of pounds worth of damage before a security guard managed to restrain her.

She was later taken into custody by the police.
