Driver takes cops on wild car chase on runway

A hot pursuit unfolded in California on Friday on an active airport runway in Van Nuys, where a suspect led authorities past moving planes and through grassy patches, before crashing through a fence and surrendering.

The pursuit lasted for about 20 minutes.

Police said the suspect was rambling about the "federal government" and "Mexican drug cartels".
