Truck knocks over scooter riders and drags them 10 metres along road in China

A truck knocked over two people on a scooter and dragged them along a road for over 10 metres after they ran a red light in northern China.

CCTV video, shot in the city of Xinzhou in Shanxi Province, shows the truck knocking over the scooter with two people on it after turning a corner.

According to reports, the scooter ran the red light and drove into the truck driver's blind spot.

Luckily, the two people suffered only minor injuries.
