Electric moped rider narrowly avoids serious injury after being crashed into by car driver

A biker narrowly avoided serious injury after being crashed into by a car in eastern China.

CCTV footage, filmed in the city of Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province on September 16, shows a white car bumping into an electric bike turning a corner.

The electric scooter was knocked over, but, miraculously, the quick-thinking biker managed to hop off as the car swiped the bike from under him.

The biker only suffered soft tissue a contusion to his left foot, reports said.

According to the police, the biker took the main responsibility as he did not give the way to the car going straight and the car driver took the secondary responsibility.
