Russian couple build replica Giza pyramid in their backyard
Video and story from ITN
A Russian couple have built a replica of the Great Pyramid of Giza in their garden.
The structure is 19 times smaller than the original in Egypt, but still impressive in size, with each side measuring 13 metres in length and its tower reaching nine metres above the ground.
Andrey and Viktoria Vakhrusheva recreated the pyramid with concrete blocks behind their summer residence, after two years spent studying the original design.
The structure has already attracted visitors, who come both for spiritual reasons and just out of curiosity.
The pyramid is located in a small village 12 kilometres outside St Petersburg.
