Michael Gove is self isolating as family member has COVID-19 symptoms
Cabinet Office Minister Michael Gove is self-isolating as a member of his family is displaying Covid-19 symptoms, an ITV reporter said.
Gove, one of the most senior members of Prime Minister Boris Johnson's government, continues to work, ITV said.
Many thanks for kind messages. In accordance with the guidance, I am isolating at home after a member of my family started to display mild symptoms of coronavirus on Sunday. I have not displayed any symptoms and am continuing to work as normal. #StayHomeSaveLives

The news came as ministers tried to clam uncertainty, following the news on Monday evening, that Boris Johnson had been moved to a critical care unit after experiencing breathing problems.
Despite the Foreign Secretary, Dominic Raab, being designated as Mr Johnson's stand in; questions over the direction of the Government, and who is ultimately in charge of decision making, have continued.
