Hilarious moment a 'T-Rex' pushing a shopping trolley joins the back of a long Tesco queue

A shopper has captured footage of the moment a person in a T-Rex costume pushing a shopping trolley rushes to join the back of a queue for Tesco Extra.

Russell Owen, 37, captured the peculiar moment while waiting in a queue in Yate, Gloucestershire.

Russell, an IT Manager from Yate, said: "It was cold and us early birds who got to the front of the queue were talking of how bleak things seemed."

"Out of nowhere we saw a dinosaur pushing a shopping trolley, waving as they walked past to join the back of the queue. It made us all laugh."

"It made us realise that in times of hardship, humour can get you through."
