Giant sinkhole in El Salvador prompts evacuations

A giant sinkhole has prompted the evacuation of hundreds of homes in the capital of El Salvador earlier this week.

The drone footage, which was filmed Thursday (October 17), shows the enormous sinkhole with several houses sitting on its edge.

The sinkhole, which was made worse after heavy tropical rains hit the region, has been an issue for several years.
