Royal photographer Chris Jackson reveals his top photos from Harry and Meghan's royal tour of Africa

The royal tour may be over, but we're still reliving the biggest highlights to come out of Prince Harry and Meghan's Markle's 10-day visit to the continent.

Town & Country recently caught up with royal photographer Chris Jackson, who accompanied the royals on their first tour as a family of three, to talk about his favorite moments caught on camera.

Meghan hugs little boy during a visit to Justice Desk in Capetown

Said Jackson to Town & Country: "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s much anticipated tour of South Africa certainly didn’t disappoint. It started with a colorful bang as the royal couple visited a 'Justice Desk' initiative in the township of Nyanga just outside Cape Town. The organization supports impoverished and vulnerable young people in South Africa."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visit Waves for Change at Monwabisi Beach

"The next day, the royals visited a fantastic initiative called 'Waves for Change' on Monwabisi Beach. It is a fantastic project that uses the benefits of surfing to help improve mental health awareness."

Meghan visits Auwal Mosque on Heritage Day with Prince Harry

"Another standout image for me was the Duchess of Sussex visiting Auwal Mosque in Cape Town. This mosque is the first and oldest mosque in South Africa, and for the Muslim community, it symbolizes the freedom of former slaves to worship. As the Duchess left, there was a moment in the doorway with a soft light and clean black background where she glanced to the right. The resulting image was certainly one of my favorites from the visit."

Also included on Jackson's list for the publication are a shot of the Duchess of Sussex dancing with locals, as well as the couple meeting Graca Machel, the widow of Nelson Mandela.

Jackson, a longtime friend and photographer for the royals, has been commissioned over the past several years to capture some of the biggest moments for the family, including most recently Prince Charles' 70th birthday.
