Meghan Markle makes the most stylish return from maternity leave

Meghan Markle is back!

The Duchess of Sussex made a very stylish return from maternity week on Thursday to kick off her new philanthropic initiative, the Smart Set Capsule Collection, in conjunction with the organisation Smart Works. The initiative works with four different brands, Jigsaw, Marks and Spencer, John Lewis and Partners and Misha Nonoo, whose sales will help unemployed women return to work.

For her return, the duchess opted for two pieces from the collection: a white button-down from Misha Nonoo and black trousers from Jigsaw. Royal fans can expect to see more of the royal in the designs: The duchess has already purchased all of the items from the collection and will wear them on her upcoming tour of Africa later this month, according to People.

Although Meghan has stepped out publicly for a few royal engagements over the course of the four months, including for Trooping the Colour, a charity polo match and for the US Open, Thursday's outing marks her first official engagement since giving birth to baby Archie Harrison on May 6th.

"Since moving to the UK, it has been deeply important to me to meet with communities and organisations on the ground doing meaningful work and to try to do whatever I can to help them amplify their impact. It was just last September that we launched the Together cookbook with the women of the Hubb Kitchen in Grenfell. Today, a year later, I am excited to celebrate the launch of another initiative of women supporting women, and communities working together for the greater good," the duchess said about the project.
