Internet delighted by Princess Charlotte's sassy move on first day of school
It seems that Princess Charlotte's first day of school was filled with a mix of different emotions: nerves, excitement and her usual sass!
The royal tot kicked off her first day of school on Thursday at Thomas's Battersea, alongside parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and big brother Prince George, who is also a student at the south London school.
While the four-year-old is known for her outgoing personality (royal waves and hilarious faces included!), photos from the big day show an unusually shy Charlotte hiding behind Kate as she makes her way to meet headteacher Helen Haslem on Thursday morning.
However, it seems that with a little encouragement from mum Kate and a little influence from George, Charlotte quickly recovered and reached out to shake Haslem's hand.
You can see the milestone moment captured in the video above, which shows Charlotte overcoming her nerves -- her hair flip, in particular, left many royal fans amused.
When charlotte started playing with her hair was cutest thing ever.

She does look nervous, but recovers her composure with aplomb. Princess Charlotte is that most unusual of royalties: not at all shy in front of a crowd or cameras.
