Mum fights off three masked thugs who tried to steal car

A mum fought off crow-bar wielding car jackers who tried to steal her £55k car with her three-year-old son in the back.

The three masked thugs fled after Amy-Leigh Hill, 24, fought back on her Birmingham driveway.

CCTV footage captures the men wrestling with Amy before they flee in a waiting getaway car on July 26.

One of the men was armed with a crowbar and demanded the keys to her Audi, but she refused.

Recalling the incident, Amy told the Metro: "I don't know if they'd been following me, were waiting for me or if it was just random.

"They started attacking me from all sorts of angles. I was pushing them off. They pushed me up against the window of my house by the throat. I kicked them off and was screaming at them to get off."

West Midlands Police are appealing for information about the attack to contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
