Unearthed photo of Meghan Markle posing with Kate Middleton tabloid cover goes viral
Two years before she met now-husband Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex was already taking photos with the royal family!
The internet has recently unearthed an old photograph of Meghan Markle posing with British tabloid magazine U back in 2014 alongside its deputy editor. And that magazine had none other than a smiling Kate Middleton on the cover!
The then 34-year-old was playing the role of Rachel on Suits when the photo was taken and reportedly had a hand in the magazine's issue. It's no surprise given her love of writing: Meghan ran her own lifestyle blog, called The Tig, until it shuttered in 2017 and most recently guest-edited British Vogue's September issue on Forces of Change.
Of course, social media was quick to call out the coincidence in the photograph:
"Funny how life works like this," commented one fan. "That's crazy! I bet in a million years she never thought she would be part of that family. Life can be so unpredictable," wrote another.
Five years after the photo was taken, Meghan has become one of the most famous faces in the world, earned the title of duchess and given birth to the seventh-in-line to the British throne!
This isn't the first time that the internet has dug up a photo that could have predicted Meghan's future. In 2017, a snapshot of a then-15-year-old Markle posing outside of Buckingham Palace went viral after it was shared by The Daily Mail. Taken in 1996, it shows the teenager smiling just feet away from her future family.
