Four teenagers aged between 15 and 17 have been charged with an aggravated hate crime for attacking two women on a London bus.

Melania Geymonat, 29, and her girlfriend Chris were travelling on a night bus when they were approached by a group of men.

The Met Police confirmed the four teens will appear before Highbury Corner Youth Court on Wednesday 21 August.

One of the 16-year-old boys, from Wandsworth, south London, is also charged with theft and handling stolen goods.

Another, from Kensington and Chelsea, is accused of possessing cannabis.

The 15-year-old boy, also from Kensington and Chelsea, faces an additional charge of handling stolen goods.
