Motorist given the fright of his life during night-time drive

This man was driving down a deserted road at nighttime when something totally unexpected almost caused an accident.

Australia is well known for its unique wildlife - from terrifying spiders, snakes and sharks to cuddly koala bears and kangaroos. Except that kangaroos possibly shouldn't really be in this second category - as they can actually be very dangerous animals - as this man who had to defend his dog from an attacking 'roo found out.

In the video above, we see another Australian falling foul of a kangaroo, this time whilst he was driving along the road at night. Thankfully the man was not hurt in the incident - but it certainly gave him a shock.
