Empty car rolls into toy shop window

Updated

An empty car has rolled into a toy shop after the driver left it parked on a hill.

Bystanders said the Citroen rolled about 50 yards down and across the high street in Lymington, Hampshire, and crashed into the window of Figgures toy shop shortly after 3pm on Monday.

Shop staff said no-one was hurt.

“I was driving past and saw it start to roll,” said Steven Hines, 36, who lives near Lymington. “I stopped and shouted to everyone to get out of the way.

“I ran to the shop to check no-one was hurt. Luckily everyone was fine.”
