Man, 26, charged with murder over Tesco car park stabbing in Slough

A man has appeared in court accused of stabbing another man to death in a Tesco car park in broad daylight.

Aqib Pervaiz appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Saturday charged with the murder of Nadeem Uddin Hameed Mohammed.

Thames Valley Police said the incident happened in the car park of the Tesco store in Wellington Street in Slough, Berkshire, at 12.32pm on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old victim, who was from Southall in west London, had been stabbed in the chest and was taken to hospital, where he later died.

Pervaiz, of Rochford Gardens, Slough, spoke only to confirm his name and details during the short hearing.

The 26-year-old was remanded in custody to appear at Reading Crown Court on Monday.
