Stars react to the birth of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's first royal baby
Meghan Markle officially welcomed her first child --a baby boy -- with Prince Harry at 5:26 am time on Monday morning.
Well wishes and congratulations came flooding in on Instagram from politicians and celebrities including Michelle Obama, Ryan Seacrest and Ellen DeGeneres.
"Barack and I are so thrilled for both of you and can't wait to meet him," the former First Lady wrote, while Markle's former "Suits" co-star, Patrick J Adams, said "Just heard that the world just got heavier by 7 pounds and 3 ounces. Much love to him and his incredible parents."

Liam Payne took to Twitter to congratulate the couple, writing: "Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the birth of your baby boy. So happy for the both of you."

Ellen DeGeneres also expressed her delight online, writing: "The royal baby is here! Congratulations, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

Meanwhile, the Duke of York posted a message on Instagram, writing: "Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the safe delivery of your baby boy!"
The couple announced the birth of their son Monday morning, writing: "We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses' son weighs 7lbs. 3oz. The duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives. More details will be shared in the forthcoming days."
