In Pictures: Soldiers ‘Race the Sun’ around North Yorkshire

Hundreds of soldiers are taking part in Race the Sun, an endurance event that traditionally takes place from sunrise to sunset, in North Yorkshire.

The physically demanding challenge involves swimming, kayaking, cycling, running and marching, and tests soldiers’ physical stamina, teamwork, courage and determination.

Leg 7. Half marathon road race (21km).This is a challenging route, some of the runners may have already completed an earlier leg too. Race the sun is a physically & mentally demanding race. All competitors are doing extremely well this far. Keep going guys 👏
