Royal baby: Buckingham Palace gives major hint at when Meghan Markle is due to give birth

Prince Harry's newly-announced trip is giving royal family watchers a giant clue about when Baby Sussex is due to arrive.

Duchess Meghan, who has been due to give birth "any day" now for several weeks now, is likely to give birth by the end of next week, which is when her husband is scheduled to visit the Netherlands.

Buckingham Palace announced on Wednesday that the Duke of Sussex will travel to the nearby country on Wednesday, May 8, and Thursday, May 9, meaning that the royal family presumably expects his first child with his wife to come before then.

His visit is to launch the one-year countdown for the 2020 Invictus Games at The Hague following an official royal engagement in Amsterdam. Harry founded the Invictus Games, an international sporting event for injured servicemen and women, back in 2014, and Harry and Meghan made their debut as a couple at the 2017 Invictus Games in Toronto.
