Harry to visit Holland to promote Invictus Games

The Duke of Sussex is to make a two-day visit to Holland – which could come just days after his first child is born.

Harry’s wife Meghan is due to give birth any day now and the duke may find himself leaving his wife and new baby behind for the planned trip on May 8-9.

Buckingham Palace said in a short statement: “While in the Netherlands, the Duke will undertake an official engagement in Amsterdam.

“His Royal Highness will then travel to the Hague to officially launch the one year countdown to the Invictus Games – The Hague 2020.”

The Invictus Games is an annual sporting event for injured ex-servicemen and women.

Royal fans are on tenterhooks waiting for any news of the royal birth.

Meghan gave a clue about her due date when she told a well-wisher, during a visit to Birkenhead in January, that her baby was due at the end of April and beginning of May.

Harry visited Amsterdam last year to attend a major Aids conference and shared a platform with musician and Aids campaigner Sir Elton John.
