In Video: Meet the man on a mission to run a marathon in every country

One of the thousands of runners taking part in the London Marathon on Sunday will be no stranger to the 26.2-mile distance.

Nick Butter is part-way through an attempt to run 196 marathons – one in every official country in the world – with a goal to raise £250,000 for Prostate Cancer UK.

Because the first marathon in his bid was in London in January 2018, tomorrow’s race will not count towards the overall tally, but Butter said he ranked it as one of the best in the world, particularly because of the supportive crowds watching along the route.
