Live: Fire rips through Notre Dame Cathedral

Firefighters are battling a devastating blaze at the historic Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.

The blaze has toppled its spire and threatens the entire wooden frame of the building.

The deputy mayor of Paris, Emmanuel Gregoire, said the cathedral had suffered “colossal” damages.
