What the papers say – April 14
A variety of stories make the headlines on Sunday – from the latest on Brexit to an interview with a woman who was detained in Dubai.
Jeremy Corbyn also features on several front pages, with The Observer reporting that the Labour leader has been warned that the party will be deserted by millions of anti-Brexit voters if it fails to give clear backing to a second referendum in its manifesto for next month’s EU elections.

The Sunday Telegraph says an analysis of polls suggests Mr Corbyn is heading for No10 after Theresa May failed to deliver on her promise to take Britain out of the EU by March 29.

The Sunday Times runs with its so-called “Labour files” for a second week running, and claims Mr Corbyn has privately admitted that evidence of anti-Semitism within the party has been “mislaid, ignored or not used”.

Meanwhile, the Sunday Express says senior Government figures have warned that “Brexit is dead” – although Brexiteers have vowed to keep fighting until the UK leaves the EU.

In other news, the Sunday People carries an interview with Laleh Shahravesh, who was held in Dubai over Facebook posts in which she called her ex-husband’s new wife a “horse”.

The Mail on Sunday claims the intelligence services have told the Prime Minister and Home Secretary that Shamima Begum stitched suicide bombers into explosive vests.
