Second man in court on murder charge after father’s death

A second man has appeared in court charged with murder after a father died almost five months ago.

Owen Hassan, 30, died following an incident in Greenview Street near the Old Stag Inn in Shawlands, Glasgow, on November 7 last year.

Craig Corral, 38, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday charged with assault, murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice.

He made no plea and was remanded in custody.

David Callaghan, 29, from East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire, appeared at the same court in December on a murder charge.
