The Metropolitan Police have issued an appeal for witnesses as they seek a woman who pushed a pedestrian in front of a moving bus in London in May last year.

The victim, a woman in her 60s, had had a verbal exchange with the suspect in a Tesco store, before leaving and continuing about her business.

The suspect followed the woman to the busy Vauxhall Bridge Road, before pushing her into the path of a London bus.

The victim hit the doors of the bus and sustained bruising and grazing to her limbs, and a cut to the top of her head.

Officers stated that the woman they were seeking was in the company of two children at the time of the assault.

The CCTV footage above captures the moment the shocking incident happens.
