Another massive Brexit defeat for the Prime Minister leads the lion’s share of Wednesday’s papers.
Britain has been plunged into crisis as a result of the second rejection of Mrs May’s deal, which MPs voted against 391 votes to 242, The Times says.

The Daily Express describes it as a “fresh shattering blow” for the PM that leaves Brexit “almost certain” to be postponed past March 29.

The Daily Mail says there is now speculation over how long Mrs May will remain as Prime Minister, although her aides have insisted she has not considered resigning.

The Daily Mirror says Mrs May’s defeat was “humiliating” and her authority has been left “in tatters”.

Mrs May was suffering from a hoarse voice as she addressed the Commons following the loss, The Sun reports.

The Financial Times says the pound fell 0.6% against the dollar and dropped 1.1% against the euro following the vote.

The vote deepened uncertainty for the future of Brexit, with no deal, a new deal and a delay all still on the table, The Metro reports.

MPs will vote on whether to leave the EU without a deal on Wednesday and Mrs May is expected to vote against such an outcome, the Daily Telegraph says.
